RWOHFED proudly joins the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, a UN-supported international initiative that runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day).
This powerful campaign unites activists, organizations, and communities worldwide to raise awareness and take action against gender-based violence. As a women-led grassroots organization working in rural Uganda, RWOHFED stands in solidarity with women and girls everywhere, advocating for their safety, rights, and dignity.
Throughout these 16 days, we will be organizing community awareness sessions, educational workshops, and advocacy activities in Adjumani District to address gender-based violence, promote gender equality, and empower women and girls to stand up against all forms of violence.
